About
The CV you'd actually want to send.
Most people have one of three CVs. A LinkedIn profile that looks like every other LinkedIn profile. A PDF stuck in a Drive folder, last edited in 2019. A personal site that took 30 hours to build and 5 minutes to embarrass them about its footer.
None of these are the link you'd send to someone you respect.
Folio is for that link.
What it stands for
If a flow takes longer than a coffee order, it dies. No sign-up wall, no template browsing maze, no setup tutorials. The first thing you do is publish.
Three templates, hand-tuned typography, sub-second loads. A Folio looks better than a site you could build in a weekend — because that's what your audience expects when they click the link.
You're not renting a profile on someone's platform. The page is yours, the URL is yours, the data is yours. Take it with you when you leave.
No notifications nagging you back. No follower counts. No likes. No 'people you may know.' Folio respects that your job is to share a link, not to log in daily.
Who built this
Hi — I'm Marc Henry Ibeneme. I built Folio because I needed it. Every job application, project pitch, and "send me your background" message had me staring at LinkedIn wishing it looked less like LinkedIn.
Folio is a small product made carefully. It's bootstrapped, built in public, and reads zero analytics it doesn't need to. If you've got feedback, a bug, or just want to share what you made — email marc4henry@gmail.com. I read every message.
